It’s All About Having Fun While Staying Indoors

The fact of the matter is, it doesn’t really matter if you’re going to play an old quiz game or looking for a fresh concept. Because what’s important is you are keeping the fun alive despite having to stay at home for most of the time (at least for now) and being unpredictable at the same time.

And so with no further ado, here are some online trivia quiz ideas that you can try out with family and friends to help you through the COVID-19-related isolation:

trivia quizzes

Quaran-Tune – Think it of as a rendition of a classic “name that tune” game with a twist. Basically, the rules are pretty much self-explanatory since they’re just the same as the classic game. The only difference is that the titles of the songs to be guessed have something to do with the ongoing health crisis situation (virus, self-isolation, proper hygiene, and anything related to the current pandemic).

As the host of the online quiz, you’ll be playing the songs for 5 seconds and then let your participants guess the title after. Each correct title is equivalent to 1 point, and whoever gets the most points first will be declared winner.

Isolation Scavenger Hunt – Again, this game is variation of “bring me” but only ‘pandemified’. All you have to do is name at least 5 items that are commonly found within the household and let the players race to bring them all to you. Then, ask whoever brings them first to tell a story about those items that they brought before declaring them the winner of the game.

Who Am I? – Ask all participants to submit an old photo. It can be a school ID picture, baby picture, or a candid shot from their childhood days. Then show the picture to the participants (provided that the owner will be silent or he/she will be disqualified) while giving the clues as to who is in the picture. Whoever makes the right guess gets 1 point, and the player who has the most points will be the winner.

Song Association – And last on this list of online trivia quiz ideas is quite hard but all the more exciting. And it goes something like this: think of a word and let the players give a title of a song with the word you mentioned along with the artist who sang that song. Of course, the first player who gives the correct answer will get the point.

You can be as specific or silly with the words you are going to use in the game, but what’s important is that everybody will have a good time despite being isolated in your respective homes.
